Sandie Armstrong – Director and Actor
Sandie founded Theatre Stramash in Brighton in 2014 and directed the debut show, Brewers Fayre for the Brighton Fringe Festival 2014. She trained as an actor at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and studied English at Glasgow University. She has worked as a professional actor, both in the United States and the UK since 1995. In addition to directing and designing Brewers Fayre, Sandie has also directed excerpts from Road by Jim Cartwright for the New Venture Theatre/ University of Brighton’s Celebration of Jim Cartwright’s work in 2013. Dodger Philips – Movement Director and Actor
Dodger trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. His work as a Movement Director, Teacher, Actor and Theatre Practitioner spans more than 20 years. His experience has ranged from performing with various European circuses and with Opera North for their National tour of The Bartered Bride. He appeared in productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre and the West End including His Dark Materials, Jumpers and Kean. David Richards – Filmaker and Image Designer
David is the director of Big Egg Films. He has directed numerous music videos and promotional films and he recently wrote and directed Empty Space, a short film that was shot on location in Wales and Brighton which will be doing the festival circuit soon. Rachel Heaton – Soundscape Designer and Actor
Rachel trained at Rose Bruford as an Actor-Musician. She founded Growl Theatre in 2011 and debuted her own experimental fringe piece entitled FRONT, performed behind glass in an Oxfam-Shop window. She created the installation which formed the set in the shop-front and also composed the music/soundscape. Her acting credits include: TV – Holby Blue (BBC), Doctors (BBC) RocketMan (ITV) All About Me (ITV) The Best Man (ITV) In 2 Minds (BBC) and The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret (Channel4). Tegen Hitchins – Actor
After signing with STORM Model Management Tegen went onto study acting at ACT in Brighton. Since graduating, theatre credits include: The Positive Hour (Jermyn St), The Big Bitesize Breakfast (St James Theatre), Silence (Lost in Space), The Graduate (Tanglehead), EAST, New World Order (Hydrocracker), The Cherry Orchard, A Midsummers Nights Dream (Theatre Royal Drum) and The Caucasian Chalk Circle (International Footprint ).
